Class Descriptions
Ashtanga: a vigorous and dynamic practice of prescribed series of postures. Great cardio workout.
Baby & Parent Yoga: designed for new moms and dads with infants (up to 9 mos) - to assist mom in regaining her pre-pregnancy figure quicker, increase strength, improve relaxation and networking with other new parents.
Candlelight Yoga: enjoy the gentle ambiance of this special class, embracing soothing candlelight, and asanas which are challenging and peacefilling.
*Hatha Yoga: series of postures, held for a brief period of time, including breathwork.
*Hip-Hop Yoga: Incorporate yoga moves as UPLIFTING music invites you to move freely, opening to the VIBRANT you.
Meditation Workshop: learn and practice tools and techniques to develop and further enrich your own meditation. All are welcome.
*Partner Yoga: Join us on the 4th Friday of every month - bring a partner or come solo. Nice, supportive, non-threatening, FUN workout for everyone!
Pilates: Great "core" work, toning and strengthening the back, on a mat.
Prenatal Yoga: Enjoy this class, designed to focus on the needs of an expectant mother, in each trimester. Special attention to back, breathing, stretching and relaxation.
*Restorative Yoga: Relax and renew, restful yoga for stressful times, experience soothing, quieting, gentle
postures combined with breath work and stress relief. Bring 4 small blankets and pillows.
Slow Flow: stretching and flowing fun, "bridging" hatha yoga with vinyasa.
*Taking Care of Backs: a gentle yoga practice using classic yoga postures to strengthen & maintain the
health of the spine and back muscles. A class for EVERY body.
Vinyasa: a free-flowing sequence of yoga postures, linking breath and movement in a cardio-intensive
practice.
*Yin-Yang Fusion: the deep tissue work of yin balancing with the muscle work of yang asanas.
Yin Yoga: floor postures held longer to bring flexibility to fascia and bones.
Yoga 4 Kidz: a FUN experience for kids to learn yoga postures, breath work and relaxation.
*Yoga Nidra: an Hour-long savasana (relaxation).
*Yoga / Pilates: the 'fusing' together of hatha yoga and pilates "core" work strengthening spine and abs.
